Funny behavioural difference

India and more than that we Indians is an unsolved riddle. I think πŸ€” I am among many of us, who is not able to understand what kind of nature and etiquettes we Indian carry. There is a stark difference in how we behave being outside India and as soon as we land at the earth of our own country. Question is why? Probably some great researchers must have done some research on difference in this attitude. If not, It’s high time. More than that we as Great β€œIndians” need to ponder on this and behave rationally and same within our own country. Now let’s come to the differences I am talking about. Here are few of my observations and will be happy to hear you all out. 1. Littering- topped the list. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ We don’t even throw a small tissue on roads in foreign countries and when in India, all streets and roads are our dustbin.  2. Being in queue- we will always be in queue for using washrooms or taking coffee etc. (like an obedient student). But once in India, qu...

Pind Junction

Image
Pind Junction NotsoActuarial By Indu Bansal Where:  Pind Junction, Element One Mall (Near Good Earth), Gurgaon Food served: You must be thinking this place will have only typical north Indian food. You are right to certain extent, they do serve north Indian food, with other cuisines like Chinese and continental. Their menu offers you great deal of options - tandoori starters, burgers, wraps, kebabs and so on. Apart from Indian sweets and ice cream, they have waffles on their menu. They cater to all types of crowd : for health conscious people - they have tandoor and for others like me, you can order anything on the m enu. 😜 Another interesting thing - this is the first place, which  serves both  Dahi Kebabs and Dahi ke sholey. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹ A dahi kebab fan, would really admire the difference. Though both the dishes are made of hung curd, but  Dahi Kebabs are round shaped & soft On the other hand Dahi ke sholey are crispy and cone shaped. Attaching...

Stallion - Pride Plaza Hotel : Not recommended

Stallion - Pride Plaza Hotel NotsoActuarial By Indu Bansal Where: Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity This is a bar/pub in Pride Plaza Hotel. One of their many restaurants. Food Served: Beverages and Snacks In industry terminology: Finger food We asked them if they can serve food from different restaurants they have - they politely said no to it. So we end up ordering some drinks and starters. What we ordered: For all the Bira (beer) lovers, they serve Bira. Peanuts and Soya Katori as chakhna with Beer. Masala potato and soyachaap.  I must say food was quite disappointing, though it looked good. But taste wise - below average. Presentation could have been a lot better. Ambience: Nice ambience They have nice bar sitting Cozy place overall Service:  πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž Disappointing service they don't serve a complete dish. Like Chuttney was missing with starters. We are Indians and can't imagine a meal/starter w ithout green chuttney....

Norenj - Fancy North Indian Resturant

Image
Norenj NotsoActuarial By Indu Bansal Where:  Near Baani Square, Sector 47, Gurgaon Our order: Mediterranean - Hummus pita & Lavash. Wondering what is Lavash: it is kind of bread stick, which we eat with Soups mostly. They serve hummus and lavash as the welcome dish. So, we had plenty of hummus and lavash. 😞😞 Ideally they should inform or serve before taking orders. So, please ask before you place your order. Starters - Dahi Kebab and Non Veg dishes. As I am a vegetarian, I would not be able to comment on Non Veg dishes. But my friends liked the food. Dahi kababs were good. But not the best ones. Pizza - they serve special boat shaped pizza. Pizza was really tasty and off course boat shape is worth mentioning. Beverages - Beer (they have their own Brewery. Call out for fresh beer fans). You can order tasters and decide which beer you want to order. Mocktail - Virgin Mojito and some Norenj special mocktails. Nor...

Masala Chai

Masala Chai NotsoActuarial By Indu Bansal Masala Chai - sounds normal yet interesting! This place reminds me of my good old Bangalore days. #rain #memories #goodolddays Where : Brigade Metropolis, Garudacharpalya, Bangalore Food Served : As the name suggests, they serve Chai, Coffee and Snacks. They also have some lunch options. Like Rice and curries #food #chailover The interesting part about this place is that they serve variety of dishes and keep on adding more as per customers interest and liking. So you might find something like poha on certain day and masala sandwich on other, which all goes well with chai. My all time favorite is Cutting chai, alloo sandwich, paneer toasty and bun samosa. Their onion pakodas are must try. They serve Parle-G bicsuits with chai. Even if you order the least expensive chai on their menu. :-) All the products are high quality and hygienic. At end of the day, all left overs are being given to employees. ...
